Job Description
3. Manage the annual pay award process, including pay modelling options, and taking the lead and proactively engaging with Trade Unions.
4. Develop and implement pay and reward strategies aligned with organisational objectives.
5. Lead on the design and delivery of remuneration frameworks and incentive schemes.
6. Provide expert advice on pay structures, job evaluation, and market benchmarking.
7. Collaborate with senior stakeholders to address workforce planning needs.
8. Ensure compliance with public sector regulations and policies.
9. Analyse and report on pay and reward data to inform decision-making.
10. Manage relationships with external partners and service providers.
11. Monitor and adapt reward strategies to meet changing organisational needs.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Head of Pay & Reward should have:
12. Proven expertise in pay and reward within the public sector or civil service.
13. Excellent understanding of excel - v-look ups, pivot tables, formulas.
14. Strong understanding of job evaluation methodologies and market benchmarking.
15. Experience in developing and implementing remuneration frameworks.
16. Knowledge of public sector policies and compliance requirements.
17. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
18. Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders effectively.
What's on Offer
19. Hourly rate of approximately £33.00 - £38.00, depending on experience.
20. 37 hours per week. 9.00am - 5.00pm
