Hand Picked Magazines, the luxury lifestyle publications of the renowned Hand Picked Hotels collection, is seeking a dynamic and commercially minded Commercial Assistant to support our Head of Publications. Hand Picked Hotels was founded in 2001 by owner and Chairman Julia Hands MBE. Today, it remains a family-owned group with 21 unique luxury country houses and coastal retreats, each selected for their individuality. About the Role
As a key contributor to Hand Picked Magazine's commercial success, you will pitch and sell premium advertising space across print and digital platforms, building meaningful relationships with prestigious clients, luxury brands, and collaborators. Working closely with our Head of Publications, you will help develop and implement an ambitious commercial strategy, including creating media packs, pitch decks, and bespoke branded content opportunities. You will attend high-level meetings, coordinate elegant events and photoshoots, and ensure flawless campaign delivery from artwork approval to results tracking. Your creative flair, attention to detail, and proactive approach will make you an influential ambassador for Hand Picked Magazines at industry events, editorial discussions, and client functions.

* Proven track record in premium sales, with experience in identifying revenue opportunities, creating bespoke advertising packages, and converting leads into long-term partnerships within luxury media.
* Established expertise in managing high-end client relationships, confidently negotiating deals, championing brand values, and driving repeat business with top-tier advertisers.
* Creative commercial approach, with a history of developing branded content and editorial collaborations that deliver strong ROI while aligning with editorial vision.
