Hybrid – Central London | Up to £70K+ DOE | Real Estate & Probate Insurance | Bonus + Benefits
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Compliance professional to join a successful, fast paced, and close-knit specialist insurance business.
With a strong market presence and around 50 employees, this is a key hire for a well-established team. 
The business is well-regarded within its niche – primarily legal indemnity insurance across real estate and probate – and the successful candidate will need to hit the ground running with a good understanding of this complex regulatory space.
What you'll be doing:
Taking full ownership of the Compliance function, working closely with senior leadership, including the COO and Operations Director
Playing a key role in decision-making and strategic projects, with the autonomy to shape and develop the role further
Ensuring the business remains fully compliant with FCA and broader regulatory requirements, including strong oversight of STA processes
Acting as a key point of contact across the business, collaborating with underwriters, IT, and wider operational functions
What we're looking for:
A compliance professional with solid experience in a regulated insurance (ideally Lloyds syndicate environment – preferably legal indemnity, probate, or real estate focused
Someone confident, detail-oriented, and self-motivated – you’ll be trusted to take the lead and work independently
An easy-going and diligent operator who thrives in a smaller business with minimal red tape and a flexible, agile approach
Exposure to working in a hybrid model and comfortable being hands-on across the business
Proven ability to influence, advise, and support senior stakeholders
