Vibra Hospital of Western Massachusetts - Central Campus, located in Rochdale, MA, is a 47-bed Critical Care Hospital providing acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Our patients often require additional critical care services for complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation, and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer a fast-paced and friendly work environment where you can develop close relationships with your patients and their families.
Responsibilities
The RN develops, implements, evaluates, and revises care plans for assigned patients and families, promoting Vibra Healthcare's mission and values. Responsibilities include direct patient care, delegation, and supervision of nursing care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act. Key components involve demonstrating clinical competence, managing patient care, improving quality, establishing professional relationships, utilizing professional skills, fulfilling hospital responsibilities, and developing clinical expertise in the specialty area.
Required Skills
* Current, valid, and active RN license in the state of employment.
* Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor.
* Current ACLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor within six (6) months of hire.
Additional Qualifications/Skills
* Previous acute care experience is strongly preferred.
* Professional image presentation.
* Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance.
* Strong organizational, prioritization, and analytical skills.
* Ability to make independent decisions when needed.
* Working knowledge of computer and software applications relevant to the role.
* Drug and alcohol free in the workplace.
