We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef Manager to join our team in Peterborough, United Kingdom. As the Chef Manager, you will lead our kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of culinary excellence and customer satisfaction.
Oversee and manage all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
Lead, motivate, and develop a team of kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment
Manage inventory, control costs, and optimise food wastage while maintaining quality standards
Ensure compliance with all food safety and health and safety regulations
Monitor and analyse financial performance, implementing cost-saving measures where appropriate
Maintain accurate records of inventory, orders, and food preparation processes
Proven experience as a Chef Manager or in a similar senior culinary role
Food hygiene certification
Excellent creative culinary skills with a passion for food innovation
Strong leadership and team management abilities
Proficiency in food cost management and budget control
In-depth knowledge of food safety and health and safety regulations
Experience in menu planning and development
Proficiency in kitchen management software
Strong organisational and time management skills
Customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality dining experiences
