A major organisation is scaling an Operational Workforce Planning (OWP) programme and is seeking a senior consultant to play a pivotal role in its enterprise rollout. This individual will act as a strategic partner to the programme lead, helping drive cross-functional coordination, process optimisation, and successful implementation across multiple divisions.Hybrid: 3 days in London-based office
Rate: up to £750pd inside ir35 via umbrella
Duration: initial 6 months
Programme Context
1. The OWP MVP is launching within the Engineering division with support from a consulting partner.
2. The programme integrates with multiple enterprise systems, including finance platforms and contingent workforce systems.
3. The role sits at the centre of PMO, technology, change,munications, and business stakeholder groups, ensuring alignment and delivery momentum.
Key Responsibilities
4. Engage and influence senior stakeholders across multiple functions (including C‑suite).
5. Promote and socialise Operational Workforce Planning
6. Conduct process discovery, as‑is/to‑be mapping, and gap analysis.
7. Support product and programme delivery across several divisions.
8. Partner closely with technology teams
9. Operate effectively in aplex, highly matrixed environment with shifting priorities.
Preferred Profile
10. Big 4 consulting background strongly preferred.
11. Experience supporting or delivering large‑scale operational or workforce planning programmes.
12. Proven project management and resource management capability.
