A welcoming and inclusive primary school in the Warrington area, is looking to appoint a committed and passionate Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher to join our dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and nurturing teacher-whether experienced or newly qualified-who is eager to make a positive impact in the classroom.
About the Role:
You will take responsibility for a KS1 class, delivering high-quality teaching and learning, and supporting the academic and personal development of all pupils. Working closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents, you will create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment where every child can thrive.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
2. Monitor and assess pupil progress to ensure high standards of achievement
3. Foster a positive and caring classroom atmosphere
4. Work effectively with teaching assistants and SEN staff to meet the needs of all learners
5. Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
6. Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and events
We are looking for someone who:
7. Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
8. Has a thorough understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum
9. Is creative, enthusiastic, and dedicated to providing an excellent education for all
10. Demonstrates strong classroom management and communication skills
11. Is reflective, adaptable, and eager to engage in continuous professional development
12. Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of all children
