NHS Supply Chain has an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Lead to join our Finance team during a period of transformation. You will play a key role in ensuring robust financial controls, accurate transaction processing, and high-quality financial reporting, helping to make it easier for the NHS to put patients first.
Working across multiple operating units, you will lead continuous improvement of accounting processes, ensure compliance with regulatory and accounting standards, and provide trusted financial insight to internal and external stakeholders.

* Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, supported by appropriate evidence, policies, and controls.
* Lead and continuously improve accounting processes and procedures to strengthen controls and efficiency.
* Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory, accounting, and internal governance requirements.
* Deliver high quality financial reporting and insights to support effective decision making.
* Provide expert financial advice and contribute to projects, ensuring finance controls are embedded from the outset.
