Role Summary
The Senior Payroll Advisor supports the Payroll Manager by maintaining payroll information to ensure employees are paid correctly and on time. Provides proactive support to the People Team, focusing on data transfer, integrity, and system improvements.
Role Responsibilities
* Run and check monthly UK, ROI, and Channel Island payrolls for approximately 1400 hourly and 700 salaried employees.
* Liaise with external payroll bureaus.
* Respond to payroll queries from employees.
* Manage expenses processes.
* Coordinate with the People Team to ensure accurate data transfer and processing.
* Manage maternity and paternity processes.
* Ensure payrolls are posted and reconciled in Finance Systems.
Skills and Experience
* Minimum of 2 years payroll experience.
* Knowledge of Access PeopleXD is an advantage.
* Proficient in office packages; able to manage and audit data from various sources.
* Focus on quality and high service standards.
* Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
* Self-motivated and able to work independently.
* Excellent communication skills.
