To manage key controller and operational aspects of the CBS News International Finance Department. Controller Responsibilities: News General Ledger – responsible for accurate and timely entries to Oracle (including Journal entry, Payroll entries, Month End Entries, FX Revaluation, Accruals, Prepayments etc) Liaison with payments team based in Budapest Manage cashflow for 6 bank accounts (UK and overseas Bureaus) Month End Reconciliations – Balance Sheet reconciliations Manage finances of 2 x UK Subsidiaries – AP, AR, Cashflow, Financial Control, Month End Close, Budgets/Forecasts, External Audit, Tax – VAT returns News & UK Subs Manage launch of new Oracle Fusion finance system in Q2 2026 Operations Responsibilities: Concur expense support – Review, Support & Training, liaison with Corp T&E team Cash Handling – Advances for travel, cash counts, reconciliations Travel Cash Funds – Replenishments, balance monitoring International Bureau Oversight – Review of Oracle entries and balances for China & Israel International Petty Cash – UK, China, Israel, South Africa, Italy, Iran, Moscow Credit Card Management – Amex, BoA Visa, liaison with Corp Card Programs International Bureau Funding – China, Israel International Bank Account Management – Treasury Admin, UK, Israel, China International payroll oversight FBS Financial Management – Royal Events accounting Treasury Cashflow input General Responsibilities: Embrace the ‘One ViacomCBS’ approach and encourage collaboration and team working Be an ambassador for all Viacom CBS channels, internally and externally Adopt and promote the CBS News values and support a culture of inclusion What are we looking for? Proven experience in a general accounting role; Oracle experience highly desirable (preferably Oracle Fusion) Proven experience of working with Excel and Microsoft packages; A hands-on, all-rounder who is detail orientated, whilst understanding the bigger picture; Experience of taking ownership for their responsibilities, managing their priorities and managing up effectively; Being responsible for a range of Balance Sheet accounts; Monitoring systems and processes and making suggestions for improvements; Ability to act & make decisions quickly when needed; Media experience; Learning on the Fly; Problem Solving; Integrity and trust; Interpersonal Savvy; Priority Setting and Organisation; Time Management; Action Orientated; Customer Focus; Process Management; and Attention to detail.
