About the Role:
As Aftermarket Supervisor, you will manage and develop the company’s aftermarket services, including spare parts, repairs, upgrades, and service contracts. You will work closely with the service, engineering, and sales teams to ensure high customer satisfaction levels and maximise aftermarket revenue and lifetime value.
This role requires a strong mix of technical understanding, commercial awareness, and coordination skills. You will be the central point for all post-installation support activities, helping to strengthen customer relationships and drive business growth.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee and coordinate all aftermarket activities across magnetic separation, vibratory feeding, and inspection system product lines.
* Respond to customer enquiries regarding spare parts, servicing, and system upgrades.
* Prepare quotations and process orders for aftermarket products and services.
* Work with the Service and Engineering teams to schedule field service visits and manage follow-up actions.
* Develop and promote service plans and aftermarket packages to new and existing customers.
* Monitor and manage aftermarket Key Performance Indicators (e.g., response times, quote conversion rates, parts dispatch accuracy).
* Maintain accurate records within CRM and ERP systems.
* Support inventory management for spare parts and consumables.
* Identify and act on opportunities to improve customer experience and internal processes.
* Liaise with suppliers, sub-contractors, and logistics partners where needed.
Requirements
Essential criteria
* Experience in an aftermarket, technical sales support, or service coordination role within a capital equipment or engineering business.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple enquiries and priorities.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Strong commercial awareness and customer service orientation
* Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems (e.g., Sage, Salesforce or similar).
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel occasionally if required.
Desirable criteria
* Knowledge and general understanding of industrial equipment.
* A technical or engineering background
