In this position, you will: Deliver engaging, activity-based ESOL lessons tailored to a wide range of learner needs. Support learners in achieving accredited qualification and celebrating their individual journeys. Contribute to curriculum development that is innovative, inclusive and responsive to change. Your Day-to-Day Impact Collaborating with other departments to enhance cross-curricular learning and progression pathways. Promoting internal and external success stories using a wide variety of resources, to celebrate learner and staff achievements. Experience in delivering high-quality ESOL provision and developing learner centred curricula. A strong understanding of quality assurance and continuous improvement in education. Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage change in a positive and proactive manner. A passion for celebrating learner success and sourcing relevant work experience opportunities. Integrity, resilience, and the ability to work collaboratively under pressure. Key Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver ESOL lessons tailored to diverse learner needs and levels. Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations. Support learners in achieving accredited qualifications and personal learning goals. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum design and delivery. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress and achievement. Demonstrate and embed college values. Complete and improve quality assurance processes. Demonstrate quality improvement in all elements of role. Support open evenings, events and additional qualification delivery. Is This You? Qualifications and Experience Recognised ESOL teaching qualification. Experience delivering ESOL in further education, adult learning or community settings. Proven track record in quality assurance and continuous improvement within an educational context Experience in developing dynamic learner centred curricula that reflect current pedagogical trends and learner needs. Teaching and Learning Ability to design and deliver engaging, activity-based lessons that promote language acquisition and learner confidence Skilled in differentiating instruction to meet varied learner levels, backgrounds, and learning styles. Competent in assessing learner progress and providing constructive feedback to support achievement. Passionate about celebrating individual learner journeys and achievements, fostering a culture of inclusion and success.
