About the Role: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to provide tailored support for students with additional needs. This role requires patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to help children engage with the curriculum, develop their confidence, and thrive in the school environment. Responsibilities of a SEN Teaching Assistant : Provide one-to-one or small group support for pupils with SEN. Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons and adapting resources. Support students with their social, emotional, and academic development. Encourage independence and build confidence in learning. Monitor progress and provide feedback to teachers and SENCOs. Help maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment. SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) Requirements: CACHE Level 2 or 3, NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare/Teaching Assistance, or equivalent qualification. Experience working with children, ideally in an SEN environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A proactive, nurturing, and patient approach.
