Job Type: Full-time, day shift.

We are seeking a full-time Anesthesia Assistant to join a well-established Department of Anesthesiology.
Job Responsibilities
Assist in the administration and management of anesthesia care under the supervision of an AnesthesiologistPerform pre-anesthesia patient assessments as directedPrepare and maintain anesthesia equipment and suppliesAssist with induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesiaMonitor patients intraoperatively and report clinical changes promptlySupport post-anesthesia care as appropriateMaintain accurate and timely documentationEnsure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standardsCollaborate closely with Anesthesiologists, CRNAs, surgeons, and nursing staffQualifications
Completion of an accredited Anesthesia Assistant programEligible for or holding appropriate state licensure (as required)National certification as an Anesthesia Assistant (if applicable)Current BLS and ACLS certification (or ability to obtain)Strong clinical skills and attention to detailAbility to function effectively within a team-based anesthesia care modelCommitment to patient safety and high-quality careBenefits
