This role can be almost entirely remote, with occasional weekly travel to their three Dorset hubs. They welcome applications from candidates qualified by experience, part-qualified, or those making their first move from practice.
The key responsibilities include:
1. Production and review of monthly management accounts and assistance with annual statutory accounts
2. Preparation of budgets and forecasts
3. Preparation and presentation of financial reports, liaising with budget holders and stakeholders
4. Variance analysis and commentary explaining key variances
5. Deputising for the Finance Head in senior leadership meetings and managing one direct report
6. Coordinating with internal and external auditors
