What the Job Involves As an AMHP for the Adult Mental Health Hub, you will conduct Mental Health Act Assessments on behalf of Hillingdon Council, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and local authority procedures. You will coordinate with individuals with complex care needs, develop support plans, and ensure maximizing choice and independence. This position requires you to provide expert advice, professional supervision, and leadership to social workers and team managers while acting as an organizational expert. In the Out of Hours hub, you'll manage mental health crisis assessments and adult social care emergencies on a 24-hour rolling rota, working collaboratively with a range of partners and agencies and ensuring service efficiency and effectiveness.
