Job Summary
Wyvern Health Partnership invites a qualified GP to join a 2‑partner, 5‑salaried general practice in Swindon. The role is salaried, part‑time and permanent, and involves a broad range of clinical duties and professional development in a busy, fast‑growing setting.

Responsibilities
* Provide patient care through surgery, telephone and home visits, including assessment, diagnosis and management of undifferentiated problems.
* Make professional and autonomous decisions for self‑referrals and referrals from other health professionals.
* Screen patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness and develop care plans in line with current disease‑management protocols.
* Deliver health education, counselling and secure referral to other care providers as appropriate.
* Record clear, contemporaneous consultation notes to agreed standards and compile audit data.
* Issue computer‑generated acute and repeat prescriptions in accordance with the practice formulary.
* Maintain confidentiality of patient, carer and staff information, and adhere to all relevant policies and procedures.
* Support health, safety, equality, diversity and professional development initiatives, including audit participation and continuing education.
* Communicate effectively with team members, patients and carers and respond to alternative communication needs.
Qualifications & Experience
* Essential: MRCGP qualified GP, GMC member and on the local Performer's List.
* Experience of working in a GP practice.
* Good interpersonal skills and an exceptional patient care ethic.
Desirable
* Working knowledge of SystmOne Clinical IT systems.
* Familiarity and use of Microsoft Office suite.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
Other Information
Salary: £233.73 per session, based on current salaried GP contract.
Contract: Permanent, Part‑time.
