Job Description:
MCS Group is recruiting for an HR Manager to join a growing manufacturing company in Cookstown. As HR Manager, you will be responsible for executing all HR functions aligned with business goals. This standalone role offers an opportunity to enhance company performance and employee experience through HR initiatives.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Manage core HR administration, including onboarding, exit procedures, document management, and maintaining employee data on the HRIS. Respond to related queries professionally.
2. Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, from sourcing candidates to extending offers.
3. Oversee graduate and apprenticeship schemes, collaborating with academic institutions to attract emerging talent.
4. Partner with leadership on talent strategies, performance reviews, feedback cycles, and staff development initiatives.
5. Manage Learning & Development programs, organizing training aligned with business objectives.
6. Support employee relations, including managing absences, resolving grievances, and ensuring HR policy compliance.
7. Promote employee engagement and wellbeing, contributing to CSR and internal initiatives to strengthen organizational culture.
8. Collaborate with senior leaders on strategic HR projects to align HR practices with company goals and enhance operational performance.
9. Identify skill gaps, workforce needs, and recommend recruitment or development solutions for long-term capability planning.
Ideal Candidate:
* Proven experience in a similar HR role within relevant industry.
* CIPD certification or working towards it.
* Degree in HR Management or related field is advantageous.
* Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office tools.
