The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Team Lead / Manager to manage and lead the SDR team. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing sales strategies that generate and qualify opportunities, and for ensuring that the sales development team meets or exceeds its targets. This role will report to the CRO and work closely with the Demand Generation Team, and other members of the wider sales team.


Some Key Responsibilities

* Execute sales strategies that generate and qualify opportunities, in collaboration with the CRO.
* Mentor a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to ensure they are following best practices and are meeting or exceeding their targets.
* Maintain sales development processes that align with the company's overall sales strategy and goals.
* Monitor and analyse sales development performance metrics, and make recommendations for improvements or adjustments to strategies as needed.
* Identify new market opportunities and work with the BD/wider Demand Generation Team to develop strategies for capitalising on them.
* Provide regular reports on the sales development team's performance to the Sales Development Director.
* Manage performance reviews and weekly 1:1s.
* Owns their overall team target and contributes as a player-coach.


Requirements

* Extensive knowledge of sales principles and practices.
* Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.
* Strength in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
* Ability to provide mentorship.
* Have carried and achieved SD targets consistently.
