The Role
As a Senior Town Planner, you will play a key role in delivering a wide range of planning projects, working closely with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams. You'll be involved in both strategic and development-led planning, providing expert advice and leading on applications and appeals.
Key Responsibilities
* Leading and managing planning applications and appeals
* Providing clear, commercially focused planning advice to clients
* Preparing high-quality planning reports and supporting documents
* Managing client relationships and contributing to business development
* Mentoring junior team members and supporting their professional growth
* Engaging with local authorities and key stakeholders
About You
* MRTPI Chartered (essential)
* Proven experience in a consultancy or private sector planning role
* Strong knowledge of UK planning policy and procedures
* Excellent communication and report-writing skills
* Commercial awareness and a client-focused mindset
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
