Job Opportunity: Consultant Acute Physician
Join North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust's forward-thinking team of consultants, delivering high-standard Acute Medicine services. This role offers opportunities for skill development and working within a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
1. Location: Peterborough City Hospital, with cross-site working required.
2. Responsibilities: Provide high-quality, safe, and compassionate care to acutely ill medical patients, participate in teaching and supervision, engage in clinical governance activities, and contribute to innovative pathways like Same Day Emergency Care.
3. Team and Environment: Collaborate with colleagues in ED, AAU/MAU, and Ambulatory Care Units, making rapid clinical decisions while maintaining high standards.
4. Job Plan: Approximately 10 PAs (8.5 DCC + 1.5 SPA), with options for additional PAs, and a 1:6 on-call rota. Flexibility for part-time and full-time roles, with various shift patterns including days, evenings, and weekends.
5. Teaching and Development: Active involvement in training, supervising, and promoting a positive learning environment.
