As we continue our journey toward becoming Ireland’s most trusted and sustainable business, we have an exciting opportunity for a successful candidate to join our team as an Transport Operational Support
What you'll be doing:
• Resource planning
• Provide transport support to the warehouse and to the transport schedule
• Deal with customer & driver queries
• Driver dispatch & de-brief
• Undertake other duties within the Transport office / planning function as required
• Organising and managing specific elements of the planning function daily.
• Accurate data input for use in compilation of KPI reports
• Asset tracking
• Fuel Monitoring on an MPG file and/or MCS system
• Management of scheduled maintenance for fleet
• Willingness to substitute for development
• Any other duties as and when required
Shift work is a requirement with Saturday work included 5 out of 7 on a rotational basis
Essential Criteria
• Good geographical knowledge
• Good working knowledge of SCM (OR EQUIVELENT WMS)
• Good knowledge of transport operations
Competent in Outlook & Excel
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of warehouse operations
