Reporting to our Head of Client Support, we would love to hear from you if you bring:
* Experience in the medical insurance industry
* Exceptional IT skills
* Previous experience in the medical insurance industry is desired.
Role Specific Responsibilities
* To administer a portfolio of Private Medical Insurance policies for our Corporate and Individual clients.
* To maintain the firm’s bespoke customer database ArchAngel at all times.
* To answer any client queries accurately and in a professional and timely manner and to keep accurate clear and concise records for audit trail purposes.
* Completing a market review analysis for our annual renewals and compiling a report on behalf of the adviser with the findings.
* To assist the team with new business quotations, compiling a report on behalf of the adviser.
* Providing high level administration support to the advisers.
* Dealing with ‘day to day’ policy amendments including change of addresses, new members, leavers, adding dependants. Recording the correct details on the firm’s database and liaising with the insurer accordingly to request new membership documents.
* Checking that all documentation received from insurers is accurate.
* To ensure that your allocated ‘task list’ is always kept up to date complying with the firm’s SLA’s.
* To ensure that all client information is treated in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
* Assist in maintaining good working relationships with insurance companies.
* Any other ad hoc administration duties.
Regulatory Responsibilities
Awareness of the rules and regulations and practice requirements of all regulatory procedures including the Financial Conduct Authority, Data Protection Act and Anti Money Laundering Regulations.
Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications
Private Medical Insurance knowledge is essential. Knowledge of other Health & wellbeing products would also be desirable.
* Experience of using Word, Excel, Outlook and company database is essential.
* Well developed communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Good time management.
* Clear telephone manner and clear listening skills.
* Team player.
* Flexible approach.
* To demonstrate drive and positive approach to work and a determination and motivation to achieve all tasks assigned accurately and in a timely manner.
