The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with ONNEC standards. Working closely with the Warehouse Manager and project teams, this role plays a key part in supporting the smooth flow of materials and equipment to meet project delivery needs. What you’ll be doing as our Warehouse Supervisor: Supervise the warehouse daily and warehouse staff when present. Control stock and maintain 99% stock accuracy. Goods receipting of all materials. Assist the Warehouse Manager in the planning of deliveries as required by Project Delivery staff. Check site materials returned to the warehouse, locate within the warehouse or return to Suppliers for credit as appropriate. Perform ad hoc stock takes and regular full stock takes as required. Manage material transfers and record on Sage. Comply with current Health and Safety procedures. Adhere to warehouse procedures. Maintain discipline within the warehouse. Manage maintenance spares and 24/7 access when required. Provide cover for the Warehouse Manager as and when required, holidays etc. Perform key-holder duties, attend site out of hours including weekends when required. Manage, issue and receive site equipment. Complete daily/weekly forklift checks, reporting any issues or damage. Ensure the cleaner completes all duties reporting to the Warehouse manager any issues. What we’re looking for in our Warehouse Supervisor: Good knowledge of stock management systems – Sage would be an advantage. Use of Microsoft products - Word, Excel and Outlook. Good organisation, time management and people management skills. Good inter-personal skills, works well under pressure. Enthusiastic and dynamic personality even while dealing with a high workload. Fork Lift Truck driving licences, both Reach and Counterbalance. Fire Marshall and First Aider certificates or willingness to complete training for both. Knowledge of structured cabling products and components beneficial but not essential.
