Vehicle Technician Vacancy - Loughton

Our client, a well-regarded dealership, is currently seeking a dedicated Vehicle Technician to join their busy service department.

6. Full-time role of 45 hours per week, including weekends on a rota basis
Duties:
7. Conduct routine servicing and repairs on a variety of vehicles, including diagnostic, warranty, and general maintenance work
8. Carry out tasks such as oil changes, cambelt replacements, and other vehicle maintenance activities
9. Complete digital write-ups and job cards efficiently, ensuring all work is accurately documented
10. Perform electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) to diagnose issues and maintain high standards of vehicle safety and performance
11. Follow manufacturer procedures and safety standards to uphold quality and consistency
Requirements:
12. Recognition of a Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent)
13. Previous experience as a Service Technician or Mechanic, ideally with exposure to warranty and servicing operations
14. Strong team player with a focus on delivering high standards of workmanship and safety
15. Knowledge of electronic vehicle health checks is advantageous
16. MOT licence is a plus – full training will be provided for individuals without this qualification
