Job Description
* Develop and implement strategies for institutional donor engagement and funding acquisition.
* Lead and manage the preparation of high-quality funding proposals and bids.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional donors and partners.
* Monitor and evaluate funding opportunities, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
* Provide strategic guidance to the team on donor compliance and reporting requirements.
* Oversee the preparation of donor reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Collaborate with internal teams to align fundraising efforts with organisational priorities.
* Stay informed of trends and developments in the not-for-profit funding landscape.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Head of Institutional Funding should have:
* Proven experience in institutional fundraising within the not-for-profit sector.
* Strong knowledge of donor compliance and reporting requirements.
* Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver successful funding proposals.
* Exceptional relationship‑building and stakeholder management skills.
* Proficiency in strategic planning and project management.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
