Job Description
We are seeking a proactive individual to join our Supply Chain Team as a Supply Chain Co-ordinator working with the schedulers. Previous experience in the supply chain function is not essential; however, a good knowledge of computers, systems, and mathematics is required.
The Candidate: Ideally, candidates will be self-starting, motivated individuals with great organisational skills and a good eye for detail. Problem-solving and excellent written and verbal communication skills, both internally with colleagues and externally with customers, will be critical. While working within a team, each member will have separate responsibilities, customers, and production lines. Therefore, you need to be proactive and hands-on, driven by a desire to ensure all key tasks and responsibilities are fulfilled and to achieve the best possible results for both customers and internal stakeholders.
Bradbury's operates in a fast-paced environment, so the ability to respond with speed, confidence, and clarity is essential.
The Role:
* Manage varied tasks within the supply chain function with a multi-tasking approach.
* Play a key role in the planning, control, and delivery of products in full and on time to your allocated accounts.
* Create relationships with key staff across the site and engage in thorough communication.
* Build relationships with your customers' key contacts and liaise with them regularly.
* Manage, review, and amend data and systems such as Syspro (inventory management), MRP (material requirements planning), and Orchard (warehouse management).
Other Responsibilities:
* Conduct yourself in a safe and diligent manner, complying with health and safety policies and procedures.
* Uphold and promote company policies and procedures, including those related to Equality and Diversity.
* Participate in activities and developments relevant to the post.
* Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion at all times.
* Represent Bradbury's professionally and promote a positive public image.
* Undertake any other duties reasonably required for the role.
The role will include full training and support. We welcome applications from anyone interested, regardless of current position or previous experience. One opening is for a junior-level candidate, who will be supported by the Supply Chain Manager to develop and take on more responsibilities as they progress.
