A day in the life of…
As Sales Manager, you will develop a commercial plan aligned with business objectives, outlining actions and strategies to support the hotel's positioning. You will work with the General Manager, Sales Effectiveness Director, and Revenue team to continuously align and devise strategies to retain and grow the business. Utilizing this intelligence, you will create strategic plans to ensure the hotel remains competitive in the marketplace.
Based at the Mercure Maidstone Great Danes Hotel, you will be part of a small (but mighty!) team of passionate professionals who believe that being the best doesn’t always mean working around the clock.
What do we need from you?
To succeed in this role, you should have experience in a Sales Supervisor/Manager capacity, preferably within the hospitality industry. Previous experience in Account Management is desirable but not essential. As the commercial expert for the hotel, you should be comfortable discussing business performance and making informed decisions and recommendations at a senior level. This is a highly collaborative role, working closely with the senior management team on-site and upskilling the team to maximize revenue opportunities.
