A day in the life of…
As a Sales Manager, you will develop a commercial plan aligned with the business objectives, outlining actions and strategies to support the hotel's positioning. You will collaborate with the hotel General Manager, Sales Effectiveness Director, and Revenue team to continuously align strategies and tactics to retain and grow the business. Utilizing market intelligence, you will create strategic plans to ensure the hotel remains competitive in the marketplace.
Based at the Mercure Maidstone Great Danes Hotel, you will be part of a small but passionate team that values work-life balance and strives for excellence.
What do we need from you?
To succeed in this role, you should have experience as a Sales Supervisor or Manager, preferably within the hospitality industry. Previous experience in Account Management is desirable but not essential. You should be comfortable discussing business performance and making informed decisions at a senior level. This is a highly collaborative role requiring close work with the senior management team and the ability to upskill team members to maximize revenue opportunities.
