EBus & eTruck EV Infrastructure Specialist
Employment Opportunity – Estimator / Quantity Surveyor (EV Infrastructure)
Magnus Construction Group Ltd
Magnus Construction Group Ltd is seeking a motivated and commercially capable Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to join our expanding team, supporting the delivery of EV infrastructure projects within bus and HGV depot environments across the UK.
This is an exciting time to join Magnus Construction Group. We are currently undertaking the refurbishment of our own office premises in Keighley, a project that reflects the standards, ambition, and professionalism that underpin our business. This investment sets the foundation for the continued growth and achievements we have delivered over the last few years and marks the next phase of our development.
The Role
The Estimator / Quantity Surveyor will play a key role in supporting the commercial and cost management functions across a range of EV infrastructure projects, including high-capacity charging installations, civil works, electrical infrastructure, and associated depot-based refurbishment activities.
Projects are typically delivered within live operational bus and HGV depot environments, requiring strong coordination, attention to detail, and the ability to manage commercial and contractual processes alongside delivery teams.
Projects are undertaken throughout mainland UK, therefore flexibility to travel and attend sites nationwide may be required. This will be dependent on project stage and commercial requirements.
Previous experience in the EV sector is not essential. Full support, training, and guidance will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for an Estimator / QS looking to transition into the rapidly growing EV infrastructure sector.

* Previous experience in estimating, quantity surveying, or commercial construction roles
* Strong commercial awareness and a structured, analytical approach
* Confident communicator able to work with clients, supply chain, and internal teams
* Proactive, professional, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
* Willingness to learn and develop within the EV infrastructure and depot sector
* Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel when required
