About the role
We are seeking an experienced, commercially minded finance manager to join our senior management team, working alongside both the Director and the CFO, whilst supported by the accounts assistant. Driving both financial scale-up control and operational efficiency, this key leadership role is pivotal to cross-functional decision making.
Core responsibilities
Full responsibility for the day-to-day financial management of the company, to include:
· Payroll and pensions
· Monthly management accounts
· Accounts receivable and accounts payable - UK and overseas
· Cash flow forecasting (short, medium and long term)
· Banking relationship
· International trade: monitor FX strategy, overseas VAT & duties
· Accountancy for 3 legal entities, including full monthly reconciliation of ledgers
· Annual and 3 year budget and cashflow
· VAT and R&D Taxation returns on a quarterly and annual
· HMRC relationship to include PAYE, CIS, VAT and R & D
· Services, supplier contracts and policies
· Projects portfolio and production cost performance analysis
· Asset register
· Insurance portfolio
· Implementation of a companywide financial programme of continual development
Experience
· Experience of working in a manufacturing background advantageous
· Import and export cross border accounting advantageous

Qualifications
· Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
· A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
