Interview Process: -stage process
Role purpose: To attend customer sites to provide support on IT hardware and software products, within the required Service Level Agreement (SLA). To work efficiently and proactively to deliver IT support services to a wide range of customers. Security clearance or willingness to apply will be required for this role.
Key responsibilities:
* Practice quick win processes.
* To repair, diagnose, and replace PCs, Laptops, Printers, Servers, retail equipment, and peripherals.
* To perform desk-side support for SCC clients as requested.
* Complete part movements (RMA generation & physical movement) timely and accurately, returning items as directed within company guidelines.
* Assist other engineers in delivering service to customers.
* Cover site roles as required due to planned or unplanned absence.
* Achieve KPI targets of visits/fixes per day.
* Communicate with Call Administration and the Branch to manage call details and SLA requirements.
* Utilize PDA to check and update calls promptly, reflecting work done in real time.
* Carry out any other reasonable requests from management.
* Perform customer rebuilds and configuration to desk.
* Carry out AV repairs and Printer repairs.
* Handle IMAC projects with minimal supervision.
* Participate in rota system coverage.
* Act as mentor to Grades through to Engineers.
* Train on new technologies such as AV or Cisco as needed.
* Step in for FDM or project manage when required.
* Comply with policies and guidelines, ensuring health & safety.
* Maintain professionalism and presentability at all times.
* Possess a full UK driving Licence where required.
* Respond promptly to management requests.
* Work overtime as necessary.
* Familiarize with customer policies and processes.
* Embrace training and develop skills to meet role standards.
* Maintain and adapt to new technologies.
* Keep company assets in good condition.
Skills and experience:
* Always professional and presentable.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Excellent customer-facing skills.
* Self-motivated with good organizational skills, able to work independently.
* Relevant technical certifications, e.g., CompTIA A+.
* Ability to work at height and perform manual handling activities.
