Position: Full-Time, Permanent
We are seeking a patient, energetic, and passionate Nursery Teaching Assistant to join an amazing nursery on the outskirts of Peterborough. If you’re dedicated to supporting young children in their earliest stages of learning and development, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
Responsibilities:
1. Assist in planning and delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities.
2. Support the class teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.
3. Work one-on-one or in small groups with children to encourage learning and social development.
4. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
5. Ensure the well-being and safety of all children in your care.
6. Help children develop key skills such as communication, teamwork, and creativity.
Requirements:
7. A genuine passion for working with young children.
8. Experience working in a nursery or early years setting (preferred but not essential).
9. A patient and energetic approach to childcare.
10. Relevant qualifications in childcare or early years (Level 2/3 or equivalent preferred).Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
11. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
