What you'll do
As one of our Sewer Renovation Team Leaders, you will:
1. carry out repairs on sewer assets to make sure they meet quality and customer service standards
2. undertake repairs and civil reinstatements on sewer pipes, rising mains and manhole chambers
3. work in a variety of locations, including customers' properties and gardens, highways and farmers' fields
4. coach, mentor and guide operatives within your team and larger teams on a day-to-day basis
5. work outdoors, dealing with different challenges every day and providing a vital service to our customers
6. work across Avonmouth and the surrounding areas, with the main depot being based in Chippenham.
In addition to your salary, you will benefit from a monthly bonus on the completion of your probationary period. You will also have access to a company vehicle.
What you'll need
You will:
7. have a positive can-do attitude, a great work ethic and be dedicated to doing a good job
8. be well-organised and customer-focused, as well as being a great team player
9. have experience working in the construction industry (beneficial)
10. have experience operating all plant machinery, such as an excavator or dumper
11. hold a valid UK driving licence and have proven towing experience.
