JOB TITLE: Treasury Risk and Conduct Analyst
SALARY: £53,073 - £58,970
LOCATION(S): London
HOURS: Full time
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.
About this opportunity
We have an opportunity for a Finance professional to join our Group Corporate Treasury (GCT) in London.
GCT manages the Bank’s balance sheet, liquidity, funding and capital to ensure financial stability and regulatory compliance. It is a dynamic, fast paced area with an excellent culture of innovation, teamwork and inclusivity.
The Treasury Risk and Conduct (‘TRAC’) team support the division through enhanced risk insight, governance & conduct risk oversight/reporting, strengthened controls, and promotion of automation across Treasury activities.
TRAC are currently on an exciting journey of innovation through exploration/adoption of AI and tech tools into team activities such as data analysis, monitoring, oversight, reporting and process automation. To support this, the team are seeking an individual to play a pivotal part of this journey by bringing an existing high level of tech proficiency and growth mindset to help the team achieve their ambitions targets. TRAC are in a privileged position of engaging with all Teams at all levels across GCT, therefore excellent stakeholder management, impact and influencing skills are key attributes for this role.
Day to day responsibilities will include:
1. Daily Trade & Conduct monitoring and Monthly Governance Reporting using advanced data analytics
2. Revamp of existing dashboards, reporting and presentation documents for risk/governance meetings
3. Timely delivery of innovation projects (via sprints) within the TRAC team
4. Creation of Innovation Reporting for the division
5. Trade Control data analytic & reporting development (as part of a wider project)

What you’ll need
6. Advanced experience of Power Automate (complex logic builds, approvals flows).
7. Advanced experience of Power BI (power query, data modelling, and dashboard design).
8. Proficient at Python to aid automation and analytics.
9. A strong understanding of risk management, operational controls and governance frameworks.
10. Teamwork and collaboration oriented
11. Ability to work independently and as part of a team whilst using own initiative.
12. Proven ability to automate manual processes while enhancing control and auditability.
13. Strong communication skills – especially impact, influence, negotiation & presentation.
And any experience of these would be really useful
14. Project delivery experience (to strict deadlines).
