We are looking for a confident and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to support the day-to-day running of our client busy, high-quality nursery. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong senior practitioner or room leader ready to progress into a leadership role.
You will work closely with the Nursery Manager to ensure high standards of care, learning, and safeguarding. You will lead by example, support staff development, and take responsibility for the setting in the Manager's absence.
Key Responsibilities
* Support daily nursery operations
* Lead and motivate the staff team
* Ensure compliance with EYFS and safeguarding standards
* Oversee planning, observations, and assessments
* Build strong parent partnerships
* Assist with staff supervision and ratios
Requirements
* Level 3 Early Years qualification (minimum)
* Previous senior or supervisory experience
* Strong knowledge of EYFS and Ofsted expectations
* Excellent leadership and organisational skills
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
