This is an ideal opportunity for a graduate who is passionate about supporting young people and gaining hands-on classroom experience before pursuing further training.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support students in and out of the classroom, including those with SEND and SEMH needs.
* Work closely with teaching staff to deliver tailored interventions and learning support.
* Assist with behaviour management and help create a positive learning environment.
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to help students reach their academic and emotional goals.
* Help monitor student progress and contribute to planning and evaluation discussions.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Holds a degree in Psychology or a related subject.
* Has a genuine interest in working with young people and supporting their development.
* Demonstrates patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
* Is considering a future career in teaching, educational psychology, or counselling.
* Previous experience working with children or young people (e.g., in schools, youth work, or care) is desirable but not essential.
