Family Solicitor
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 (DOE) + Bonus
Location: Lancaster (Hybrid Working Supported)
Experience: 1–5 years’ PQE (Family Law)

Our client’s Family Team in Preston is seeking an experienced Family Solicitor to handle a varied caseload of privately funded divorce, financial remedy, and children matters. The Opportunity
* Manage a diverse caseload of privately funded family law matters, including divorce, finances, and children work
* Advise high‑net‑worth and private clients on complex family law issues
* Attend court, mediations, and client meetings, preparing detailed notes as required
* Draft legal documents, correspondence, and court applications
* Progress client work efficiently keeping clients informed on progress, outcomes, and costs
* Achieve billing and time‑recording targets, supporting the team’s objectives
* Contribute to business development through networking and building local relationships
* Work collaboratively within a friendly, expert team
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified solicitor with 1–5 years’ PQE in family law
* Experience acting for privately funded and HNW clients
* Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
* Excellent IT, organisation, and planning skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Confident communicator with a proactive approach to business development
* Leadership skills and experience with SOS case management system (desirable)
