About the Role
Sustaining and improving equipment reliability and efficiency, you’ll help create innovative maintenance systems, supporting the development of performance measures and yearly maintenance plans.
Shift pattern: 8am to 4:30pm (30 min break). This role includes call-outs (1 in 5 weeks), entitling you to an additional bonus of £250 mileage paid.
Responsibilities
* PPM maintenance programs
* Commissioning new projects
* Utilising planning tools and CMMS systems to organise weekly tasks and improvement projects
* Ensuring accurate reporting and documentation of all maintenance activities
* Troubleshooting equipment issues, conducting root cause analysis (RCA), and implementing long‑term solutions to prevent recurrence
* Managing spare parts and purchasing systems, and conducting criticality and obsolescence assessments to streamline operations and support continuous improvement (CI)
* Using improvement tools such as 5S, TPM, Asset Management, and Kaizen
* Preparing weekly and monthly performance reports

Requirements
* Growth mindset with proactive thinking style
* NVQ Level 4 / HNC in Mechanical Maintenance (or equivalent)
* NVQ Level 4 / HNC in Electrical Maintenance (or equivalent)
* 18th Edition Electrical Qualification
* Completion of a fully indentured multi‑discipline apprenticeship (Mechanical and Electrical)
* Advanced PLC fault finding and problem solving skills
