Come and join our friendly and supportive Facilities team as a Removal and Specialist Clean Operative, based in Poole. You will require a clean, full UK Driver’s License for this role.
You will be required to carry out specialist cleans in wards, kitchen areas, and theatres, working with site domestic staff and maintaining National Cleaning Standards. Training will be provided for machinery used during these cleans.
As the Removal Support, your duties include office moves, furniture removals/disposals, and collecting medical devices from stores to deliver around Dorset when needed.
This is a full-time role, with hours from 8am to 4pm and some flexibility. You may need to cover all Trust sites across Dorset. Work vehicles are provided for work use only and must be returned daily to the relevant base.
This role suits someone who enjoys variety, working as part of a team, and working independently at times. Effective communication is essential as you will interact with staff and patients during your work.
Applications from candidates requiring current Skilled Worker sponsorship are not eligible to apply.
The role involves a planned programme of deep cleans across wards, kitchens, theatres, and other areas, transferring furniture between sites, and supporting other cleaning duties, including infected area cleaning.
Employment requires a Standard DBS check.
