SEN Tutor Salary: £25 - £35 Per hour Job Duties: Provide tailored academic support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a one-on-one or small group setting Create individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities Implement specialised teaching techniques to help students overcome learning barriers Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff regarding students' progress and challenges Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience working with students with SEN Knowledge of SEN regulations and best practises Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience working as a SEN tutor or in a similar role Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of various learning disabilities and developmental disorders Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs Experience using assistive technology to support students with SEN Working Conditions: Part-Time hours Work may be conducted in a school setting or students' homes Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate students' needs All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
