Working as a freight administrator, you will serve as the first point of contact for hauliers, ensuring continuous communication and maintaining service level agreements (SLAs). You will process freight and transport administration, generate reports for senior management, and support business improvement initiatives. You will also attend site visits from time to time, building face‑to‑face relationships with partners.
Key responsibilities
* Act as primary contact for hauliers, maintaining clear communication.
* Ensure SLAs are met continuously and identify opportunities for business improvement.
* Process freight/transport administration and prepare reports for senior management.
* Participate in site visits to build relationships with stakeholders.
Qualifications & skills
* Professional background in freight or transport administration.
* Strong interest in the supply chain and logistics sector.
* Proficient with IT tools, especially MS Excel.
* Knowledge of industry challenges and terminology.
* Experience in freight coordination, administration, data entry, and compliance.
