A Typical Day in the Job: Providing first-line IT support and troubleshooting over the phone for hardware, software, network, antivirus, and operating system issues. Delivering remote support for clients across Microsoft platforms. Assisting with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems and software. Fixing, preparing, and replacing client hardware, including desktops, laptops, and peripherals. Troubleshooting system and network problems, diagnosing and resolving technical faults efficiently. Logging all issues, updates, and resolutions accurately in the service management database. Supporting colleagues and senior engineers on larger technical projects and client visits. You'll be fully supported by experienced IT professionals while working towards your qualification through Baltic Apprenticeships. Desired Skills, Qualities, and Knowledge: Passionate about IT and eager to learn from the ground up. Excellent communication skills and a professional, customer-focused attitude. Organised, patient, and methodical in your approach to problem-solving. Creative thinker with good attention to detail. Confident with technology and interested in developing both technical and administrative skills. A Grade 5/C in GCSE English and a Grade 4/C in GCSE Maths is required for this role. Salary, Hours & Benefits: £14,722 - £16,672 per annum (depending on experience). Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week. Standard holiday entitlement plus all bank holidays. Your Training with Baltic Apprenticeships You'll complete a Level 3 IT Support Technician Apprenticeship, developing your skills in hardware, networking, cybersecurity, and customer support.
