Job Title: Construction Project Manager Reports to: European Head of Construction & Design
Location: Hybrid with1 day a week in our Burntwood head office and UK wide travel required.
Employment Type: Full time 35 hours per week
Salary: £55,000-£60,000 per annum DOE plus company car
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of our new-build and redevelopment nursery rollouts across the UK, providing a pivotal role in Busy Bees growth strategy. This role within the Property team, will be responsible for leading turnkey and shell & core projects the from feasibility planning to handover, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality operational and safety standards.

Manage multiple new-build nursery projects concurrently both turnkey and shell & core, from feasibility to completion.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Operations, Property, Legal, and Finance to align project goals.
Manage external consultants, contractors, and suppliers to support and drive the development programmes.
Develop and manage detailed project programmes and risk registers.
Monitor construction progress, quality control, and compliance with health & safety and regulatory standards.
Oversee snagging, commissioning, and final handover of completed sites to operational teams.
Ensure projects align with Busy Bees design standards and sustainability objectives.
Proven track record as a Project Manager within the construction or real estate development sector.
Experience managing multi-site construction projects (preferably within the education, care, or hospitality sectors).
Strong understanding of construction standards, building regulations, planning process, CDM and health & safety best practices.
Confident in budget management, procurement processes, and contract administration.
Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
