Portsmouth based. SC needed / UK nationals. 12 month contract.
* £40.00 per hour Umbrella
* £30.23 per hour PAYE
Join a leading international company in the construction and engineering industry as their Building & Construction Project Leader. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced project management professional to make a significant impact on the delivery of crucial building services projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, update and monitor project delivery plans
* Identify and manage risks and opportunities
* Manage capital expenditure business cases from preparation to delivery
* Develop detailed design briefs for building services projects
* Liaise with clients, architects and other design team members
* Prepare reports, drawings and specifications
* Develop and maintain excellent client relationships
* Project manage suitable projects
* Monitor installation works on site and ensure compliance with technical and health & safety requirements
Ideal Candidate
* Ability to lead, motivate and manage multi-functional project teams
* Previous experience in a senior project management role, ideally within facilities management
* Demonstrable experience in capital investment project management and delivery
* Strong understanding of building engineering services, including mechanical and electrical systems
* Proficiency in using industry-standard design and project management software
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Relevant professional qualifications or memberships (e.g. CIBSE, IMechE, IET)
