External Description: Senior Operations Support Engineer. Who you'll be working with: The Operations Support Engineering team partners with business leaders and teams to provide an outstanding technical and work environment. The team undertakes various jobs across desktop, AV, and facilities support.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead projects to enhance Liberty IT's office environments, desktop and device hardware/software, and digital communications.
2. Facilitate project delivery, ensure tasks/stories are owned and delivered, and communicate progress regularly.
3. Contribute to energy efficiency initiatives to meet organizational targets.
4. Mentor junior team members and engage with employees to optimize solutions and maximize business value.
5. Support continuous improvement culture, optimize employee experience, and ensure safety and security standards.
6. Review and contribute to engineering and operations standards; participate in team solutions.
7. Grow knowledge of IT systems, networks, digital communications, hardware/software, and office best practices.
8. Assess and adopt new solutions using data-driven approaches.
9. Share knowledge through tech talks, blogging, and external events.
Technology Support Responsibilities:
1. Provide ongoing maintenance and support for hardware/software during office hours.
2. Manage onboarding processes, including device and desk setup.
3. Respond to and resolve support requests and tickets, proactively identify recurring issues, and document solutions.
4. Manage AV and digital communication tools for onsite, hybrid, and remote events.
5. Maintain office environment, manage space and occupancy, and coordinate intra-office moves.
6. Support energy efficiency initiatives.
Essential Criteria:
* Minimum five years' experience in technical support for large office environments.
* Experience in software, hardware, A/V technologies, and office environment projects.
* Knowledge of agile delivery practices.
* Experience in continuous improvement initiatives and user-centric problem solving.
* Current industry-recognized certifications.
Desired Criteria:
* Participation in knowledge sharing activities.
* Experience in building customer-centric solutions balancing technical and user needs.
