AutoCAD TechnicianLocation: Southam, Warwickshire, CV47 2SZSalary: From £30,000 + DOE + BenefitsContract: Full Time, PermanentHours: 40 hours per weekBenefits: 20 days Holiday + Bank Holidays (increasing by 1 day per year until 25 days) + 1 rest day, Company Pension Scheme, In house job specific training provided, On-the-job training to RICS standards. All of our deliverables comply with RICS guidance note Measured Surveys of Land, Buildings and Utilities, 3rd edition.About us:Interlocks Surveys is a RICS regulated surveying firm based in Southam, Warwickshire. Operating UK wide Interlocks Surveys provides our clients with detailed geospatial survey data on the natural and built environments.We are looking for an experienced CAD technician to assist in the drawing and delivery of measured building surveys.
You will be required to be proficient in 2D and 3D AutoCAD, with relevant surveying experienceMain Responsibilities:As our CAD Technician, your overall role/responsibilities will include:Assisting in the production of final AutoCAD drawing files produced from site surveys, in accordance with company policies and procedures, and RICS guidelines.Drawing measured building surveys comprising floor plans and elevations.Assist other CAD technicians and ensure drawings are completed and sent in a timely manner to meet client deadlines.To work with the project manager to ensure accurate and timely completion of jobs.Interpret adhere to client briefs and technical specifications and adhere to briefs from the Survey Manager.To manage your own workload efficiently, ensuring you have the required information to undertake the brief during the allotted time.Deliver information in compliance with company Quality Assurance Policy.Knowledge, Skills & Experience:Experience of 2D and 3D CAD is essential, other programmes such as graphics packages ie, 3D point cloud and REVIT would be benefit but not essential,Experience within Cyclone Software,Understanding of surveying principles, specifically measured building surveys,On-site survey work,A problem-solving mindsetComputer literacyIf you feel you have the necessary skills and experience to be successful in this role, click on APPLY today, forwarding an up-to-date copy of your CV for consideration in the first instance.No agencies please.TPBN1_UKTJ
