Cooneen Group is recruiting for a Technical Controller to drive the design and coordination of advanced garments for our Cooneen Aviation and Cooneen Protection divisions.
What You’ll Do
Progress tasks assigned by the Technical Project Manager and support weekly project priorities.
Process orders, manage sample requests, and maintain component records in PRIMA.
Support product engineering, business development, and sales teams with technical inquiries.
Draft technical documentation, including designs, specifications, and work instructions.
Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to track samples, resolve issues, and manage timelines.
Assist with technical drawings, tender submissions, and test protocols, including pool testing reports.
Manage Certificates of Conformity and ensure compliance with AS9001D quality standards.
Support production with sample assembly/shipment and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Experience in technical documentation, order processing, and component management systems.
Knowledge of product testing, quality standards, and tender submission processes.
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and suppliers.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to accuracy and compliance.
Ability to identify process improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Flexible, adaptable, and ready to take on varied tasks to support business objectives.
Essential Skills & Experience
Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Previous administration experience, including record maintenance.
Experience in quality testing against customer and business specifications.
Ability to present technical information effectively to internal stakeholders.
Desirable Skills & Experience
HND, degree, or equivalent in design, engineering, or a related discipline.
Administration experience, including Health & Safety documentation.
Previous technical experience, including managing ISO 9001, AS9100D, or other industry standards.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
Clean, current driving licence.
