Job Description
Our client is a leading distributor of water treatment plant to the construction, rail and utilities sectors and due to continued expansion Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Field Service Engineer (Water Treatment Plant).
The successful candidate will undertake installation, service and repair of water treatment plant throughout the North of England and the wider UK.
The Role:
Reporting to the service manager you will be responsible for installations, service, repair and testing of water treatment plant at various locations throughout the UK.
Duties will include but is not limited to the following;
* Installation and commissioning water treatment plant including settlement tanks, treatment tanks, dosing skids, monitoring equipment and more.
* Mechanical maintenance and repair pumps, motors, pipe work, filters
* Electrical fault find and repair control panels, wiring
Candidate:
You will be an experienced electrical and / or mechanical engineer ideally with previous experience and knowledge of water treatment plant.
You will have a recognised electrical and /or mechanical engineering qualification e.g. NVQ3, 18th edition etc etc.
Ideally you will have a valid CSCS card and UK driving licence.
There will be travel throughout the north of England and sometimes throughout the UK with occasional...
