Sales Executive/Business Development Manager
Territory: Northwest region (Lancashire, Great Manchester, Merseyside)
Sector: Packaging distribution & solutions
Basic Annual Salary: £35,000-£50,000 (dependent on role & experience) plus bonus/commission (scope to earn 100% of salary), company car (or allowance) & flexible benefits package including hybrid working, up to 27 days holiday (Plus additional annual leave purchasing scheme)

The Sales Executive/Business Development Manager role
We are seeking one last individual to join our sales team in the region and are open to tailoring the role to suit the strengths of our chosen candidate. We can offer either a full sales cycle territory role (including existing account management and new business targets) or a 100% new business ‘hunting’ role. The role involves interacting with high-profile brands within the industrial & e-commerce sectors, acting as the main contact for your customers, and delivering solutions that meet their needs. Success will be measured by new customer acquisition, account growth, and gross profit targets. You will proactively identify opportunities to increase sales and profitability using a solution-led sales approach.

Key Duties

* Create and implement a business plan for your territory to maximize sales while maintaining excellent customer service
* Adopt a consultative approach to tailor solutions to client needs, maintaining knowledge of all packaging solutions and product range
* Prospect for potential new customers and convert prospects into increased business
* Cold call within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline
* Meet potential clients, grow, maintain, and leverage your network
* Identify decision makers within client companies
* Research and build relationships with new clients
* Plan approaches, sales presentations, and pitches
* Meet yearly and monthly sales targets
* Maintain strong sales administration using CRM (MS Dynamics) to follow up on leads, inquiries, and quotes
