Nigel James Associates are proud to working with a leading, national integrated wealth manager to recruit a Team Leader into their Berkshire office. The role is a true player/manager position directly managing a small team of experienced Financial Planner whilst taking over and managing a small portfolio of HNW clients based mainly within the Thames Valley region. Your role will be to effectively manage existing clients as well as to continue building out your book working with the Investment Managers and external introducers in the area. You will also be tasked with managing the day to day activities of your team to achieve their targets leading by example. You will work alongside various other senior stakeholders in the business to do this including T&C Manager and supported by the Head of Office. This is a senior hire for the business and therefore you will hold a senior title. Full admin and paraplanning responsibility will be given to you and your team.
Requirements
To be considered for the role you will need to have experience of working with HNW clients and the experience/ability of being able to develop new business working with both internal stakeholders and external professional connections. Ideally, our clients are seeking somebody that has managed a Financial Planning team in the past. They may also consider somebody that has helped mentor, coach and develop more junior Financial Planners and looking for that next step up in their career/full management responsibility. You will need to be DipFS Level 4 qualified as a minimum to be considered for the role. Ideally, you will Chartered qualified or working towards being Chartered already completing some AF exams.
